Last night/early this morning Amy was experiencing frequent sharp pains in the lower abdomin - pains she hadn't experienced at any point before. After calling the Doc he wanted her to come in. We made it in around 1:00am - 4th trip, 3rd overnight. The cause of the pains became more apparent once Doc did a quick sonogram this morning. The babies were overly active last night and now we know why. The girl moved/flipped and is now slightly head down but still in a transverse position. At her Dr. appointment last week Doc mentioned that given their size and how far along she is in the pregnancy babies normally do not flip around. We're not normal so we're not all that suprised :-).
The OB nurses told us they were predicting an increase in patients because of the change in weather. The weather wasn't really what brought us in but it was good to come in and make sure everything was still ok. At this point Amy is ready to get these babies out. She's really done well and I suspect will continue to beat the odds.
Anyway, we're home now and Amy is sleeping. She has another appointment on Monday. The babies also have a scheduled NST on Monday.
Henry is still doing good....been looking forward to us getting home so he can go outside and hit the baseball around and help me mow the yard.
